2. User Eligibility

Users must provide proof of their role (e.g., institutional email) to access specific areas of the platform.

Users may register for more than one role if they can demonstrate relevant skills or credentials.

Users are solely responsible for verifying the credentials and suitability of others when collaborating. Collaborate for Research Ltd does not take responsibility for any interactions, collaborations, or connections between users.
3. Account Registration and Access

Users must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

Access to certain pages or features may be restricted based on user roles.

Users can cancel their membership at any time. Prepaid memberships (monthly or yearly) are non-refundable, but users retain access until the end of the paid period.
4. Content Submission, Ownership, and Visibility

Users retain full ownership of all content they upload.

Users may upload projects, ideas, portfolios (private), profiles (public), and expert adverts.

By uploading content, users grant Collaborate for Research Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and share the content on the platform for collaboration and promotional purposes.

Users must not upload patient information or any confidential medical data.

Role-Based Content Visibility Rules:

Students’ ideas/projects: Only visible to users with consultant or senior researcher accounts. Other students and experts cannot see them.

Consultant/senior researcher ideas/projects: Only visible to students applying to them. Other consultants and experts cannot see them.

Experts: Cannot post ideas and cannot see any students’ or consultants’ ideas.

5. User Conduct
Users must:

Not upload or share unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content.

Not disrupt the platform’s functionality or security.
-
Report any misuse or disputes via the contact form on the platform.

Engage respectfully and constructively with other users.
6. Payments and Fees

Paid services include memberships and advertising of paid events (with a 10% charge on ticket price).

All payments are processed via Wix. Collaborate for Research Ltd is not responsible for issues arising from third-party payment processors.

There is no refund policy. Users can continue using the platform until the end of the paid period.
7. Intellectual Property

Users retain all intellectual property rights in their content.

Collaborate for Research Ltd does not claim ownership of any user-generated content.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

Collaborate for Research Ltd does not guarantee matches, collaborations, or outcomes.

We do not endorse the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content.

Platform availability and functionality may vary.
9. Limitation of Liability

Collaborate for Research Ltd is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from:

Use or inability to use the platform

User-generated content

Interactions or collaborations between users

Payment issues via Wix or other processors

In no event shall liability exceed the amount paid (if any) by the user for premium services.
10. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold Collaborate for Research Ltd harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
